INNERDOT > FLOW
Too many ideas? Not enough time?
When you’re close to the day-to-day running of a business, everything can begin to feel important.
There are marketing ideas you’d like to explore, projects you’ve been meaning to finish and decisions that keep being put off because you haven’t had the time or headspace to think them through properly.
You may be perfectly capable of doing much of the work yourself. What you need is someone to help you step back, look at the bigger picture and decide what deserves your attention first.
That’s where Flow comes in.
Marketing mentoring for small businesses that want to make steady progress
Flow is the starting level of InnerDot and is built around one important goal.
We’ll help you clarify what you’re trying to achieve, identify the priorities most likely to make a difference and create a practical plan you can realistically follow.
Then, through monthly planning and review sessions, we’ll help you stay focused, talk through decisions and keep the plan moving.
It’s a combination of small business marketing guidance, honest conversation and business accountability support, with practical help when you need it.
You still remain in control. You simply don’t have to work everything out by yourself.
Flow could be right for you if…
You may have plenty of ideas but feel unsure which one to pursue first, especially if you’re responsible for marketing without a senior marketing person to guide you.
Often, what’s missing isn’t capability but a trusted space to talk things through, test ideas and make more confident decisions before committing to them.
You might be comfortable carrying out much of the work yourself, but still need direction, feedback and accountability to keep things on track.
Ultimately, you want your marketing to feel more considered and intentional, rather than a collection of last-minute jobs.
And while you may be the business owner, you don’t have to be, Flow also supports marketing managers, office managers and other team members who are responsible for helping the organisation move forward.

Start with a Business Growth Session
Before we recommend Flow, we need to understand what you’re trying to achieve and what may be getting in the way.
Your Business Growth Session gives us time to explore your goals, current marketing, ideas and challenges together. From there, we can identify where your focus is likely to make the greatest difference and whether Flow offers the right level of support. You don’t need to prepare a perfect plan before you arrive. We’ll help you find the useful questions, as well as the answers.
What happens when you join Flow?

Discover
We begin with your Business Growth Session, looking at where you are now, what you’d like to achieve and what may be holding things back.

Plan
We turn what we discover into a practical 90-day roadmap, with one clear goal and a realistic set of priorities.

Keep moving
Through monthly planning and review sessions, we’ll monitor progress, work through decisions and help you stay focused on the next useful step.
Support that helps you think, not just do more
Flow isn’t about filling your calendar with additional marketing activity. It is about helping you choose the right activity.
We’ll bring an outside perspective, ask useful questions and help you make decisions based on your goals, resources and what is happening around you.
When something needs doing, we can also provide practical support to help keep it moving. You won’t be handed a list of recommendations and left to figure out the rest alone.
Sometimes the most valuable thing we’ll do is help you recognise what not to do.
Is Flow the right level of support?
Flow works particularly well when you’re happy to carry out much of the plan yourself but want experienced guidance and monthly accountability.
If you need more frequent contact, greater implementation support or help working towards two goals at once, Motion may be a better fit.
You don’t need to make that decision before speaking to us. Your Business Growth Session will help us understand what you need and recommend the most useful place to begin.
Your Flow questions answered
What is marketing mentoring?
Marketing mentoring gives you regular access to experienced people who can help you review your marketing, develop ideas, make decisions and keep activity connected to your wider goals.
It gives you guidance and a fresh perspective while allowing you to retain ownership of the work and decisions.
What does monthly marketing support include?
Flow includes a monthly planning and review session, strategic marketing guidance, a 90-day roadmap, practical support and accountability around one important goal.
The exact activity will depend on what you’re trying to achieve, rather than following the same fixed checklist every month.
Is Flow only for business owners?
No. Flow can support anyone with responsibility for marketing, growth or moving an important project forward.
That could include a marketing manager, office manager, administrator or another member of the team who would benefit from experienced guidance.
Will you carry out marketing work for us?
Flow includes some practical implementation support, but it is designed primarily for people who are happy to complete much of the work themselves.
If you need more regular hands-on involvement, we may recommend Motion instead.
